As part of the aim to provide high performance web hosting, my hosting provider has let me know about a forthcoming upgrade to the MySQL service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The work will require a brief period of disruption while the MySQL binaries and other dependencies are upgraded. This affects customers who use a WordPress blog on their website or whose site is built using WordPress<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The work will commence from Friday 28th June 2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In all cases the work will be done between 06:00hrs and 09:00hrs in the morning, during which time your websites will have intermittent access to MySQL and may display errors. If you wish to avoid this we recommend you place your websites in maintenance mode until the work is completed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n This only applies to WordPress sites.
