Moving server – Email setup

Nearly all my accounts have now been moved to the new hosting.

You will need to revise your email settings to be able to continue sending and receiving emails.

Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server

Your Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server are both mail.[domain], where you replace [domain] with your domain name.
So, for example, if your name is Jane and your domain name is thisismydomain.com and your pssword is password33:
User Name: jane@thisismydomain.com
Password: password33
Incoming Mail Server: mail.thisismydomain.com
Outgoing Mail Server: mail.thisismydomain.com

Secure SSL/TLS Settings (Recommended)
Username: jane@thisismydomain.com
Password: password33
Incoming Server: mail.thisismydomain.com
IMAP Port: 993 POP3 Port: 995
Outgoing Server: mail.thisismydomain.com
SMTP Port: 465
IMAP, POP3, and SMTP require authentication.
Select SSL/TLS

Your email passwords

It is likely your existing password came across with the migration of your site, some did not. If you cannot get emails working using the above settings go to your control panel at www.thisismydomain.com/cpanel replacing thisismydomain.com with your actual domain name of course.

Scroll down a little to emails and click to open. Here by each of your email accounts you can click Password and Authentication to set a new email password, there is even a password generator to help you.
