We’ve made some important changes to your account

On Thursday, 22nd February 2024, we upgraded your account from our existing standalone server to a new high-powered server running on our ultra-fast Katapult cloud platform.

All web and email service connections will be forwarded from the old IP address for 28 days after the migration.

There are a few important details you need to know so please take time to read the following information.

What is Katapult?
Designed and developed entirely by Krystal in the UK, Katapult is our ultra-fast, all-NVMe self-service public cloud. Built using only the best components, including bleeding-edge AMD CPUs and 100% NVMe disks, it provides a world-class public cloud experience for hosting websites and applications. Katapult’s Storpool storage technology also keeps three copies of your data spread across hundreds of disks to ensure even greater performance and reliability.

What are the new details?
New Hostname: aragats-LON.cloudhosting.uk
New Server IP: 185.199.220.84

What do I need to do?
Your website and email should have experienced minimal or zero downtime whilst the data was migrated. Any domains assigned to our nameservers were automatically updated to point to the new server.

If you have made changes to your DNS or email client settings, there are a few things you’ll need to do

  1. Domains assigned to third-party nameservers
    If you have domains assigned to third-party nameservers (e.g. Cloudflare), you’ll need to update your IP addresses on those servers once your migration is complete. The new IP address is above. The changes will usually be limited to just A records, but you may also have the IP address in other record types, such as TXT records. If you use Cloudflare, you’ll need to change the Origin Server IP address in your Cloudflare control panel. (From 77.72.0.110 to 185.199.220.84)
  2. Email client settings
    If your old server hostname (neon.cloudhosting.co.uk) is being used in your email client settings, you must update it to
    aragats-LON.cloudhosting.uk as soon as possible after the migration. All web and email service connections will be forwarded from the old IP address for 28 days after the migration, but you must make these changes as soon as possible to avoid service interruption.
